Born in 1974 and located near Haugesund in Norway. Has composed electronica influenced music since 1989. Stone Oakvalley was previously called Demonoid Productions (!DmD!) and was demo played several times on a national DJ radio show (STIFT) during 1998 and 1999. In addition to that, tracks was played on the same radio channel several times with several songs during 2003 on the radio/tv show mPetre.

Stone Oakvalley has a good choice in instruments (Roland, Novation, Yamaha) and this reflects the quality and power in his tracks. Also combining traditional sounds like piano, choirs and guitars blending into energetic trance themes makes it cool. His music style could easily be compared to artists such as Antiloop, Warp Brothers, Sash, Scooter, Darude, Dune, ATB and RMB.

His musical background contains no musical education or any other forms of guidedance from other than himself and listening close to the music he likes. Everything he knows on composing, sampling, mixing, equalizing is self learned...

The artist name Stone Oakvalley is his real name translated directly to English!

In late 2003 he took a well deserved break from composing music and worked on other creative projects during the next 6 years!

During early 2006, he released his "Gritty Oakvalley Studio Sessions (GOSS)" as a compilation double album featuring how tracks sounded like in the early mixing stages. It even contains vibes not available on End Of The Highway. A legendary double album illustrating the gritty real world of a music artist just playing around in his studio. A real interresting concept, just in the style & soul of Stone Oakvalley.

Also in 2006, he decided to release a double album "Birthstone" where all music material was made during the years from 1990-1997 using trackers and only samples. This album contains mostly tracks never before published to anybody, and it is the early days of Stone Oakvalleys music career, hence the name Birthstone.

In late 2009, he released his final quest for preserving his own music with the mini album "Gritty Oakvalley Tracked Sessions" which consisted of Tracker Based music made exactly 10 years before.

On 1st of November 2010 the albums "End of the Highway" and "The Bakka Baou Project" will be available to buy from Internet largest music sales sites, such as iTunes.

He plans to start on a third album in sometime before 2020 together with his wife Cherry May. The album will feature her vocals and with a refreshed style and goal intentions.
