My Amiga Graphics
in Nostalgia | Friday, July 18, 2014 | 07:53

Created by me (or friends) for myself or for my friends - either in Deluxe Paint 2,3,4, Real3D, Sculpt3D, Brilliance and Scenery Animator!

All work was done on Amiga 500 (1.3/2.04) and Amiga A1200 (3.0/3.1) machines between 1990-1996. At the time of which I was 16-22 years old.

Further down the page, you will see some early VidiAmiga digitized pictures.

Graphics for an old demo I had in mind. It was never created, just some graphics. The story was the following: A guy is stranded in the desert, so he sees an "island" in the desert and a shop selling water...

But the shop is out of water and drinks, but they have a special deal. An drill tool to use on his kneecap to extract the water out of it. Based on the illness called "vann i kne" which translates to "water in the knee". So, he drinks that and survives. And the cactus and the shark is happy too. Haha.

A hand drawn piece by me - inspired by my brother's Tor heavy metal vinyl front covers!

A hand drawn piece by me - inspired by a photograph in Commodore User that shown an screenshot of the Arcade Game "Dead Angle".

A (partly) hand drawn piece by me. The shadow photo was hand drawn by looking at my sister's (Eva) collection of Michael Jackson photos. The picture at the bottom is a digitized image I found on a very old SoundTracker music disc copied from the local computer store. That disk was the first tool disk I ever owned and the image was the first ever image I saw on Amiga that was digitized. I just had to include this, although I hate George Gay Michael so much! Funny to see that I actually made an news paper feel to it...I'm working today as a Graphical Designer/Layout/Profile design/User Manual Creation/Maintainer - so it seems to make my path back then! Created in 1990 I think.

A logo for my friend (LSO) for his unfinished/unedited movie "Bad Purpose" - a home breed version of James Bond. Probably created in 1991.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by Billy the Comics. Although I honestly hate this comics and don't like the humour I still draw these. I guess I just liked the clean lines in the drawings and wanted to do it myself!

A hand drawn piece by me (I think) - inspired by graphics shown in a computer magazine.

A digitized video snapshot using my VidiAmiga12 digitizer.

My first rendering ever! Me and my friend Waxhead used probably several weeks to create this masterpiece in Real3D and we were quite proud of it. The rendering took forever to calculate, probably several days.

Hand drawn pieces by me - inspired by Coca Cola..yes really! It was actually textures I used for the pictures below!

My first photo manipulation ever! I loved the movie "Lawnmover Man" and had already started to play around with digitized photos, so why not have some dreams and illustrate what kind of world I would really best like to live in...yeah Cyberspace!

A hand drawn piece by me - inspired by some graphics from an Amiga game I never got hold of. I saw the original picture in a computer magazine.

Another VidiAmiga12 digitized photo showing the view out of my old bedroom during the youth years. This was during fall.

Another VidiAmiga12 digitized photo showing my photo manipulation skills. Hehe!

A photo mashup of all kinds of images. Just playing around really.

Another randomly created graphics that shows...."cyber-dawn"... Whatta hell is this supposed to be anyway? Well, lotsa colors I guess was the urge to create this piece.

HAHAHA! A crazy mashup of digitized photos of myself!

My old logo "!DmP!" (Demonoid Productions) logo going through a brainstorming process. I never used it, and I can see why now! I have no idea what the "human" is suppose to tell, I can't really remember even drawing it!

HAHAHA! Yeah, my friend Geir Vidar going through a photo manipulation process. He did star as the nigger/nigga in my remake of the Prodigy's Poison video (check my music videos for that one, it rocks!)

Yeah, Stone Oakvalley and my old logo "!DmP!".

A VidiAmiga12 digitized photo of myself. No further comments.

Just a introduction logo for some kind of production called "PBX Guide".

Just my old plain logo. Used from 1996-2003.

Just my old plain logo. Used from 1996-2003.

Uhm...some chick from the "It Came From The Desert" game being the victim of a horny young Stone Oakvalley. Proof of existence that I'm not gay!

Yeah, I have an obsession for big boobs...always had it seems, as this count today too. Hahaha! This was a manipulated graphics ripped from the "It Came From The Desert" game using the Action Replay to rip it!

My Amiga1200 and actually my first 90Mhz PC with Windows NT4. This was in 1996 in my old bedroom. Actually the same year I moved out to my rented apartment which I had until 2008, after which I bought a house and wrote this background story of my old computers times.

A hand drawn piece by me. Donald Duck is going to work.

The logo for my EMvFX productions (Eikesdal Movie Effects) which I had going from 1994-2003 where all was merged into Stone Oakvalley Studios instead. The background picture came actually from Internet by using the Amiga to surf on Halloween images in 1996...oh those early days!

A slightly3D-ish version of the EMvFX logo.

And finally just the 2D logo.

Yeah, boobs and legs! This was originally a photo found in a computer magazine showing a girl going out of the Outrun Europa car. This piece was hand drawn by me.

One of the best hand drawn pieces I have probably made ever.

Hand drawn piece by me. I see there is a typo there.."GaGarfield??!!" What the heck!

Also hand drawn by me.

A piece rendered in Sculpt3D by me.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired most likely by the vinyl front cover of Helloween's "Walls Of Jericho".

Some cool photo manipulating placing a huge castle outside my bedroom view!

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by well... Italia '90 football crap. Why? I don't like football, never has and never will. The only solution why I was urged to draw this is because of the cool 3d blockybox man there! Also, it do seem kinda familar to the famous "Juggler Demo" on Amiga... well, there you have it!

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by a ad for James Bond comics.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by Garfield and most obvious splatter and gore!

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by Garfield and most obvious splatter and gore!

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by Christmas and the very dark night of Norway during winter time.

Hand drawn piece by me and my brother (Tor). Inspired by vinyl front covers from Kiss albums. Gene Simmons looks completely allright to me..just as ugly in real life..haha

Hand drawn piece by me and my brother (Tor). Inspired by vinyl front covers from Kiss albums. Paul Stanley looks completely allright to me..just as ugly in real life..haha

and drawn piece by me - inspired by the movie industry's most neglected adventure movie of all times! Yeah, The Labyrinth with the hot Jennifer Connelly and cool David Bowie is a movie totally underrated I think. You should really check up on this movie, its great to watch! Lots of good music too, performed by David Bowie. Not to mention the good feeling and atmosphere this movie brings with the help of masterminds such as Jim Henson and Frank Oz. This is a childhood memory so good it will never fade away.

Hand drawn piece by my friend "LSO". His first computer art. Fantastic!

Hand drawn piece by me , just a simple logo for my friend "LSO".

3D rendered logo for me and my friend "LSO" movie company... heh, not really a company but a trademark for our productions together. The full name of the logo is actually "LAST Film" and it does still remain somewhat active in our minds today.

A digitized photo using the VidiAmiga12 and an old JVC VHS-C camera. Just love those real lens flares there.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by the comics of MAD magazine.

Logo for an unfinished game I coded in AMOS for Amiga. Additional some actual screenshots and graphics planned to be used.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by the logos and trademarks of Michael Jackson.

Yet another Sculpt3D rendering done by me.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by a photo from Michael Jackson albums/artwork.

VidiAmiga12 digitized photo showing my friend Waxhead (with long hair!) on his moped..haha..I mean motorcycle.

Just a quick and probably the only saved image I ever did using Scenery Animator. It took forever to render..Yawn.

A VidiAmiga12 digitized photo showing the works of my cat. Cute mouse.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by the movie The Untouchables.

Actually not a 3D rendering but a fake rendering done in Deluxe Paint!

Hehe, the "no broadcasting" image used for the NRK Norwegian TV-Channel. I draw this by hand by watching it late at night on my telly.. We don't see these nowadays anymore I suppose.

Hand drawn piece by me.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by the Paperboy game. This is not a screenshot rip, it is actually hand drawn.

A VidiAmiga12 digitized photo of the young, hot and cool Mr. Stone Oakvalley. Yeah, I had some piercings and variying color dies. Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Black.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by a Pink Panther ad.

Hand drawn piece by my brother "Tor. It's a pizza.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by the Mickey Mouse comics.

A VidiAmiga12 digitized photo of my friend Waxhead with long hair. Today, well...its all a faint memory.. heh.

A logo for our demo/swapping group called Redline. We did create some utilities disks.

A logo to be used during loading of a demo....which was never started upon, can't even remember what it was supposed to be either.

Hand drawn piece by me - one of my best ones ever.

Some really ugly attempt to create a HAM simulated 3D rendering of some crappy 3d balls.

Hand drawn piece by me and it's not a 3D model rendering. All was done in Deluxe Paint 3.

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by Christmas.

Hand drawn piece by me inspired by the Tie Figher from the Star Wars IV movie.

Hand drawn piece by me - yeah... this is actually me beeing rotoscoped in Deluxe Paint. I do look like Beavis and can also make the sounds he create....herrhh...that's pretty coool!

Don't mess with the DOOOOOOOOO!

Hand drawn manipulated piece by me. I believe!

A VidiAmiga12 digitized photo out of my bedroom window during early fall most likely.

A VidiAmiga12 digitized photo of my friend Waxhead.

and here is the real photo we actually captured that day!

A logo for my friend's Amiga name "SV. He never used the logo, so.....

Just a varient of the logo and our demo/computer group "Procyon Software"

A VidiAmiga12 digitized photo of Waxhead again with hair. Troll or witch! Barking mad at best!

Hand drawn piece by me - inspired by the movie Terminator 2 and the head shot sequence!

A logo for a short movie concept back in 1998. The story was written, some graphics made but nothing was ever shot for this movie. Too bad, it featured car scenes, bazooka, blown up car, blood, Tarantino-style/western spaghetti influence!

A VidiAmiga12 digitized photo of my brother's car... an Opel Ascona I think.

A VidiAmiga12 digitized photo of my brother during one of the rare better winters seen in Norway the recent years.

My brother testing out some clip art for faces, noses, eyes and such!

A digitized mashup done by me. I used to work with serviceing these products back in 1997. It's an portable computer/printer device that Tollpost used during package deliveries. The product was called TP700.

A VidiAmiga12 digitized picture of my satellite dish from 1990. I told you its gigantic!

A VidiAmiga12 digitized picture of my gigantic satellite dish from 1990.

A VidiAmiga12 digitized picture of my town called Haugesund and one of the newest shops called Markedet. This is actually during 17th may, the national holiday in Norway.

VidiAmiga12 digitized pictures combined in Deluxe Paint to form a pretty realistic image of a plane landing on our lawn. I think my parents actually thought it happen, oh Deluxe Paint can fool anybody!

A VidiAmiga12 digitized picture of a picture. This is cutout in Deluxe Paint, ready to be used as a brush or during a composite.

A VidiAmiga12 digitized picture of a toilet. This was later used in a composite animation.

A color digitized image I did with VIDI-Amiga, showing the view from my childhood bedroom at 3rd floor. I actually believe this was in October or November, possibly it was even January.

But winters in the 90's seemed to start earlier than in the 2020's!

(no, its not climate change by people, its climate change naturally caused by the universe for those who wonder).
