One hell of a fast local desktop Index/Constructor/Search Engine Suite project, 3 years in the making!

Initially focusing on Amiga related database generation of directory and files structure, but expanded into other related computer databases as well.

Note: All my software is for Windows Operating Systems only, and are whereever possible, portable without any extra bullshit.

I create small, non-bloated software with anti-airy optimized GUI design - just to go against current GUI/Software trends, which do suck bigtime with lots of advertisement, crap embedded software bundles, childish icons and oversized design overall. I think you know what I mean.

*Note: Applies for SOTDS Constructor. The Constructor read/write ALOT of datapackages during indexing (even small databases), so if you are using the SSD devices for the constructing part, you are on your own!

SOTDS Searcher Tip: Export by Location feature

This tool will read any SOTDS DAT formatted database and in simple terms "precalculate" ALL possible searches that are achievable in the database, thus removing any traces of duplicated items producing a 100% unique database of numbered indexes. The resulting filepackages are compressed and automatically creates a INI file and folder structure which can be read by the SOTDS Searcher software to enable high-speed searches within the newly compiled database.

Will simply index your selected drives and let you store paths, filenames, dates and filesizes to produce a .DAT file (human readable with some special chars) for use with the SOTDS Constructor, which after processing can be used by the SOTDS Searcher software.

When time permits, documentation for the inner workings of the SOTDS DAT format will be illustrated and documented from time to time.

For users which want to create their own databases, several posts are also available to aid in the self-creation of SOTDS compatible databases.
